During a space station press conference Sunita Williams disclosed her most significant thing she will miss about space. During a space station press conference that she gave an answer of “Everything” when asked about what she will miss in space.
Butch and I have flown to the ISS three times throughout this mission. Vehicle assembly and observation remain the focus of our duties since we participated in its construction while monitoring its progress from space. Sharing the ISS experience creates a special viewpoint for everyone aboard because it shows effective problem-solving methods and this outlook remains with people even when they leave the station. She decided to save those enlightening moments of wisdom and new perspective because she did not want to surrender the innovative power she has gained during her stay at the ISS.
During the interview Williams discussed the aspect of being stranded which was the toughest to endure. The situation has produced a tremendous challenge for their supporters than for our team itself. Our team maintains its purpose while remaining at this location. Every day brings its necessary obligations which we must complete. The biggest challenge stemmed from our ignorance about our return date. The absence of certainty throughout this situation stands as the most challenging aspect for Williams according to her words.
The Crew-10 mission of SpaceX reached the International Space Station on Sunday morning March 16 which provided the launchpad for NASA astronauts Williams and Butch Wilmore to return safely to Earth. Space-X operated from Florida to successfully dock its space capsule with the ISS at 12:05 am EST during the Friday launch. Flight personnel arrived at the ISS during early 2:00 AM Eastern time to receive a greeting from Wilmore. Williams took several pictures of her fellow crew members as they smiled. The New York Post reported that the two crews performed an emotional embrace.
Williams welcomed viewers on television at this early time with his first verbal greeting. “It was a wonderful day. We are happy to welcome our friends after their arrival. Thank you so much.” The precise arrival time for Williams back to Earth remains undisclosed but will occur no sooner than Wednesday, March 19. The mission teams must examine weather forecasts near the Florida coastline splashdown locations before departure.
